The NiSi Swift VND Kit offers a range of advanced features for enhanced photographic capabilities:
True Color 1-5 Stops VND Variable Filter: This Variable Neutral Density (VND) filter features high-quality optical glass and True Color film technology to produce accurate colors with no noticeable shifts, reducing post-processing time for color correction.
Swift ND16 (1.2) 4-Stop ND Filter: The Swift 4-Stop Neutral Density filter can be mounted on the Variable ND, allowing for 6-9 stops of reduced exposure. It can also be used independently with the Swift adapter (sold separately).
No Vignetting: The system is designed to eliminate vignetting at 18mm when stacking both filters. However, vignetting may occur at wider focal lengths, so users should test their setup before shooting.
Pressure Mount: The NiSi Swift filter friction mount ensures secure attachment to your lens, providing peace of mind. There is no need for unreliable magnets that can become dislodged.
Swift System: NiSi's unique pressure-mounted system allows for the capability to be expanded by adding extra Swift filters (sold separately) simply by pressing them onto the front of the Variable ND.
Weatherproof Hard Case: The included filter pouch provides reliable protection for your filter kit, with a robust zipper closure to keep your equipment safe.
A comparison of the IR ND16 with the FS ND16 demonstrates that the newly developed titanium coating technology transmits evenly across the full spectrum from UV to IR, as verified by testing conducted by Japan Shimadzu.
In video mode, the True Color 1-5 Stops VND filter can be used with one Swift filter without vignetting at 18mm (full frame), or with two Swift filters without vignetting at 20mm (full frame).
